The Nova is a Cruiser class ship focusing heavily on Spinal Weaponry.

Description

The Nova is a spinnal focused Cruiser which focuses on its unique rapid-fire Phasers. The Nova's exterior features a rapid-fire Phaser and a Medium Cannon, some engines, fins, and glass panel on the front. Its signature appearance comes from the Medium Cannon on the top of the ship.

Interior

The interior of it has a targeting reticle for the pilot to "aim" the Spinal Phasers, and a large empty hallway.

Advantages

• High Spinal Firepower.
• Has decent mobility.
• Has decent health.
• High damage to Shields due to having more energy weapons.
• Surprise factor since it's a rare ship to see in-game.

Disadvantages

• Very low Turret Firepower.
• Low Hull damage, with only the Medium Cannon against it.
• Very vulnerable blindspots.

Strategy

• Make sure to hit with all Spinals.
• Go in large ship's blind spots and harass them with your Lasers.

Trivia

• It is one of the longest-standing ships without a remodel.
• New players buying this ship may not realize that the giant Cannon on its back is just a Medium Cannon.
